The Heart Behind Serenity’s Corner: Meet Your Founder

A Career Built on Leadership and Dedicated Care

Every family deserves a care partner they can trust completely, and that trust starts with experience. My journey in healthcare began with a deep passion for clinical excellence and advocacy. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in key leadership roles across the nursing field—including working as a Unit Manager, Restorative Nurse, Weekend Nurse Supervisor, and Assistant Wellness Nurse Director. Most recently, stepping into the role of Assistant Director of Nursing allowed me to manage complex clinical environments, shape high standards of patient care, and mentor the next generation of dedicated caregivers.

Throughout my career, I haven’t just managed from behind a desk. My leadership style has always been entirely hands-on. I believe in being right there on the floor, leading my staff by example, and ensuring that every single individual in our care is treated with absolute dignity, safety, and respect.

The "Why" Behind Serenity’s Corner

While supervising care in facilities and hospitals, I noticed a profound gap that touched my heart. I watched incredibly devoted family members stretching themselves to the point of complete exhaustion out of deep love for their seniors. I also saw full-time private aides and facility staff working tirelessly, desperately needing a reliable backup team so they could simply take a breath, rest, or attend to their own lives.

I realized that true peace of mind doesn't just come from an agency filling a shift—it comes from a trusted relationship.

I founded Serenity’s Corner Home & Heart to be that beautiful, reliable bridge. I wanted to take my years of clinical expertise and channel them into a boutique, heart-led companion and homemaker service.

Our Promise to You

When you partner with us, you are not just hiring a companion. You are bringing a team into your circle that is directly guided, trained, and overseen by an experienced nurse. Because I personally lead our companion staff, our standard of care is deeply thorough, attentive, and filled with genuine warmth.

We are here to hold the fort, honor your established routines, and bring joy back into the day—whether that is in the comfort of your private home, an assisted living community, a hospital bedside, or alongside hospice care. You do not have to carry this heavy backpack alone anymore. We are in your corner.
